Photography Is Dead

Hold on, let's put things in perspective here.

Yes, I said what I said, but here’s what I mean…

I'm not saying that the art of photography itself has lost its magic or its ability to captivate us with its beauty. No, what I'm talking about is a different kind of death - the death of half-hearted effort and shortcuts.

Nope, your clients aren’t hiring you to just click a button and call it a day.

It's about pouring your heart and soul into your craft, constantly striving to improve and learn. It's about embracing the challenges and setbacks that come your way and using them to grow stronger.

Sadly, there are photographers out there who treat this incredible craft as a get-rich-quick scheme, thinking that all it takes is a fancy camera and some luck.

But here's the hard truth- photography is an industry that separates the wheat from the chaff. It's an industry that tests your resilience and determination year after year.

You'll face countless "NOs”, rejection, and disappointment. But those who refuse to back down, those who put in the hard work and refuse to settle for mediocrity, they're the ones who are still alive and kicking it!

So, let's not mourn the death of photography. Instead, let's celebrate the rebirth of true passion and dedication. Let's rise above the noise and the half-hearted attempts. Let's embrace the challenges, learn from our experiences, and pave our unique paths.

Photography isn't dead, my friend. It's alive and thriving in the hearts and minds of those who refuse to settle for anything less than their best. So, dust off your camera, hold it with pride, and get out there.

Show the world what you're made of and let your photographs tell your story.
